We go to Baby College because...

It is a well planned structured session that gives Jack the opportunity to socialise with his peer group and learn new things. The information about child development is a useful reminder (having studied it at teacher training college).

As a health visitor, I would thoroughly recommend Baby College to any mum who wants a special time each week to gain an insight into their child’s development. Classes also help mum to encourage their baby to reach their full developmental potential in a fun and supportive environment. As a mum, I found Baby College to be an excellent way to develop an early bond with my baby, Charlotte. Knowing what to do as a new mother to best support my baby’s future development was difficult, despite my professional background. After moving to a new area I was recommended Baby College by my own health visitor. Baby College provides a sound, structured format which focuses on each of the main areas of a child’s development. The classes provide, with the support of a knowledgeable teacher, a variety of fun activities that can easily be practised at home. I strongly believe that without Baby College my baby would not be as confident and able as she is now, even at this relatively early stage. The opportunity to meet other mothers with similar aged babies proved invaluable and a great support. Baby College classes have created an exciting and stimulating environment for Oscar. The class format incorporates mental activity and play which makes learning fun for both mother and child - the results are consistent. We all have high expectations for our children and to watch them grow whilst grasping basic fundamental development skills, both socially and educationally, makes it all worthwhile. All in all, life is about experiences and learning! We both look forward to Janet's classes and enjoy them immensely!

The variety of Baby College activities stimulates all of my baby's senses, giving him a challenging and fun workout in Janet's classes. Baby College empowers parents to direct their babies' development and allows you to feel you are helping to make their eventual transition into school life as easy as possible. It is also very rewarding to see your child learning new skills.

Baby College is fun for babies, toddlers and adults. It introduces many skills that are vital at pre-school and school level. The children engage in a variety of activities that help to develop many areas of the brain. All these encourage a child’s natural curiosity which helps them to learn at school. The children develop an amazing capacity to listen and to follow instructions, which gives them a head start when starting school. The sessions are fun and educational and help prepare your child for school days.
