Our parent and child development classes
are unique and just as much for you as they are for your
baby. The Baby College programme is all about fun learning for
mum (or dad) and baby from birth to three years — all in the same class.
Baby College classes benefit you in a variety of fundamental ways including boosting parental confidence through knowledge, consolidating and building on your child's skills and starting the process of enjoying learning for life.
All of our trained teachers are either parents or have worked closely with babies and children (or both). They all feel passionately about baby development and parenting issues and firmly believe that by encouraging you and your child to work together will lead to a wonderful lifelong understanding (and, of course, this is imperative in terms of supporting your child's learning).
Our three-year programme has the Department for Education's Early Learning Goals built in and is progressive in terms of learning experiences. It takes your child from babyhood and helps you to prepare him or her for nursery at three years by encouraging early learning, appropriate behaviour, and concentration as well as being developmentally ready to learn.
For you and your baby to gain the maximum benefits from the programme you need to commit to being proactive in class and then practise elements of Baby College during play at home.
