Baby College Baby and Toddler Classes

Infants 0-9 months

Those early months go so quickly and every week brings something new. Our baby classes in Basingstoke, Hartley Wintney and Farnborough are designed especially for babies from birth to 9 months, giving you the opportunity to understand your baby’s development while enjoying fun, simple activities together. Through music, movement, sensory play and interaction, each session supports your baby’s developing senses, physical skills, communication and confidence. Everything is suitable from birth and gently develops as your baby grows.

Toddlers 9-18 months (Beggarwood only)

Your baby is becoming increasingly mobile, curious and eager to explore! Our baby and toddler classes in Basingstoke, Hartley Wintney and Farnborough provide age-appropriate activities that support this exciting stage of development. Through music, movement, sensory play, language activities and interactive games, your little one can develop communication, social skills, coordination and body awareness while having lots of fun. Classes also begin to teach your baby or toddler about colours, numbers, shapes and phonics sounds. It’s a lovely way to enjoy time together and meet other local parents and their little ones.

Toddlers+ Confidently moving – 2 years (Southwood Country Park and Hartley Wintney)

Once your little one is confidently on the move, there’s no stopping them! Our toddler plus classes encourage children to explore movement, build physical confidence and develop their growing independence. Interactive games and activities support language, communication and social skills, while introducing early concepts such as shapes, colours and numbers in a fun and age-appropriate way. Every session gives your toddler opportunities to explore, learn and have fun alongside other children. Weekly themes, allow children to start to learn about the world around them in their own way.

Juniors 18 months – 3 years+ (Beggarwood only)

Big personalities, big energy and an increasing desire to do things independently! Our Junior toddler classes are designed for children aged 18 months to 3 years+, with activities that encourage physical confidence, independence, communication and social development. Through energetic games, music, movement and imaginative play, children are encouraged to explore, make choices and learn new skills — all while having so much fun they barely realise they’re learning! Weekly themes, allow children to start to learn about the world around them in their own way.

About us

Hi, I’m Anastasia, and I run Baby College baby and toddler classes in Basingstoke, Farnborough, Hartley Wintney and the surrounding areas. I offer award-winning developmental classes for babies, toddlers and young children aged 0–3 years in a relaxed, friendly and non-judgemental setting.

I have been an early years and primary school teacher for over 15 years and I love having the opportunity to help babies, toddlers and young children have fun, learn and develop in their own unique ways. Additionally, helping parents and carers meet other local families, discover new things to do with their baby or toddler and create special memories together is so important so all venues have been carefully chosen to support this.

As a mum of two young children, I first discovered Baby College as a parent myself. I attended Baby College classes and loved the variety they offered, as well as the research behind the activities and the way the classes help parents understand their child’s development.

This is one of the reasons I love Baby College. The programme isn’t just about keeping little ones entertained; it gives parents and carers ideas and understanding that they can take home and use with their children, while providing babies and toddlers with opportunities to explore, learn, develop and have fun. Every activity and game has been carefully thought through and has a purpose linking to child development and will support life-long skills.
